Although our Congregation is small, we are proud that we are able to give a generous amount of our annual income to various Outreach Ministries! We're always willing to adopt new ministries.
Judeo Christian Outreach Center
We participate in the JCOC Community Program, which consists of feeding their homeless residents and neighbors a good, wholesome meal. Those in need are welcome to join for dinner, homeless or not, which is served at 6:00 p.m. daily. St. Simon's parishioners provide nutritious meals for up to one hundred people at least twice each year as part of an ongoing community service, as well as providing additional donations.
Love and Caring Ministry
Love and Caring Ministries provides a home for abused and homeless women. They provide women with a safe haven from abusive relationships until they can find alternative arrangements. Both women and children are fostered in a loving environment on a local farm. Support also includes food, clothing, and furniture to enable these women to reestablish themselves.
Several members have organized and support individual outreach ministries. St. Simon's also generously contributes to numerous ministries and charities as well as various diocesan funds.
